Furman at East Tennessee State (DNP), College Insider Tournament, March 15, 2011

The Paladins (22-11) closed out the program's winningest season since 1979-1980 with a 76-63 loss to the Buccaneers (23-11) in the opening round of the College Insider Tournament, the first post-season appearance for Furman since 1991. Down by 22 points in the second half, the Paladins clawed their way back into the game to cut the lead to 8 points with 7:11 to play but couldn't get any closer as Amu Saaka, Furman's leading scorer, had more fouls than points in his final game as a Paladin.
